My interests and hobbies have varied over the time as I grew up. But reading, sports, and music are few which have always stayed with me. Today's favorite is website development :-)

Here is a quick summary of activities which entertain my free time.

Movies:

I am a big fan of action, fictions and comedy. Some of my all time favorites include Lord of The Rings trilogy, Ocean's Eleven, The Gladiator, Spy Game, Ghost & The Darkness, Forest Gump. In Hindi, I love all movies of Amol Palekar, Roja, DDLJ, Lagaan, Swades and the latest sensation BLACK.

Music:

I prefer light music and listen to a lot of old Hindi songs. Asha and Kishore are my favorite singers. In new ones the de-facto choice is Rehman.  While working I prefer instrumental, preferably Hindustani Classical Instruments of Flute, Sitar and Santoor. I do listen to Marathi (my mother tongue) mostly Natya Sangeet.

Reading:

Off late I have been reading very little. These days I don't find time for novels so I go for magazines like Readers Digest and Fortune.

I used to read a lot of Marathi Novels, and like any other Maharashtrian (native of Maharashtra) I am a big fan of Pu. La. I have read most of his work at least couple of times. I have read "Raja Shiv Chatrapati" by Babasaheb Purandare at least 10 times (No Kidding!!).

Sports:

I used to be a big Cricket Fan (We Indians have it in our Blood!!). I also like to watch Long Tennis. After coming to US, I am trying to learn a few things about American Football and Basket Ball. Personally I like to play Badminton. We have formed a small badminton group in UMKC and these days we play twice a week.
